Tom Rogic set for massive contract or bigger club

Tom Rogic has scored again in the Glasgow Derby as is his penchant, his goal opened the floodgates against The Rangers in a one-sided affair at Hampden Park on Sunday.

It opens the question as to the tall Aussies playing future, coming into the last year of his contract with the Scottish Champions he has reportedly stalled on an extension, his options appear to be either a massive payrise or a place at a major club.

He has been linked with Arsenal in the past with a 7 million pound offer reported in the press when he had just one year on his contract, more consistently he has been linked with Leeds United.

Rogic has scored in every Glasgow Derby he has played this season.

Now Leeds was last a power when Tom was in Primary school so they hardly fit the billing of a major club, that said, with this year’s World Cup Finals coming up the Socceroos will give him the perfect place to put his talent in the shopfront window.

Celtic fans are currently screaming for a new deal for the likable Aussie, if he decides to continue his future for the soon to be 7 in a row champs he will remain a very popular figure at Parkhead.

But if he does move, let’s hope it isn’t to an English Championship team, his potential is undoubted and with a big showing at the coming Finals he can put his name in front of all the best managers in football.

Regardless of where he plays his football next season, the only way is up for Tom Rogic.
